"A Mother Like Me"
The Fragrance of Faith, Hope and Encouragement for Grieving Moms
The loss of a child marks the beginning of a journey through grief that will either lead to God's healing peace or
to crippling pain, sorrow, doubts, perplexities and despair.
This website is created for moms who have suffered the loss of a child. The benefit and convenience of
online social network opportunites makes it possible for us to be connected, as a community of moms,
even if we can't be together face-to-face or companionwith one another side-by-side.
After retiring from being the Co-Founding director of "Mothers Like Me Comfort Ministry" for grieving moms,
I have created and will maintain this on-line connection for moms . . .
To create and encourage a connection and resources for grieving moms to experience a measure of comfort, hope and encouragement
for the challenging journey through grief.
To encourage grieving moms to draw closer to God to experience a deeper level of intimacy, trust and dependency upon Him with the hope of
experiencing His great exchange as "He gives beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, praise for the spirit of heaviness . . . " Isaiah 61:3
To remember, honor and celebrate our children.
To encourage a network of compassionate women to "comfort others, as they themselves have been comforted by God" II Corinthians 1:4
I invite you to visit and explore the webpages included on this website with the hope that you will find what is most helpful and encouraging for you.
I also encourage and welcome your comments and your sharing something of your personal journey through grief, that may
encourage other "moms like us," by writing something for the Heart to Heart Blogpage. Email your comments and or reflections to
me, Angie Green at email@example.com for publication consideration.
